This is not my day. I dropped a cluster of ice cubes that hit the edge of the mini-fridge and broke apart, with one cube landing on top of the raid card in my file server. Fortunately I quickly found it. I'll give it a few days to dry before firing it up again.

 I don't know what a raid card is, but it sounds computerish and expensive, hope it dries out OK.

Right now it's 0718 Monday and a pleasant 17C (62.6F) in here. This time yesterday it was 33 C (91.4F)  Had to turn on the a/c.
I see more salads in the immediate future.

Just another manic Monday for me.

On a local Facebook page someone posted that a Monday had been delivered to them in error so if you ordered a Monday to please come and pick it up. LOL

Just got back from my booster jab but pretty pissed off with the trip as a whole; glad the jab's out of the way but I gave to a beggar who then proceeded to forget me and accost me again 20 mins later when I came back the same way, and he, and his mate... doing the same thing... had the temerity to get aggressive with me for getting aggressive with him, saying 'you've already done me!'. I'm not the most confident/assertive of people, and can often be pretty naive, and these guys sense that, like hyenas and move in for the kill. And that particular shopping area is a complete gauntlet to run through of beggars, I just hadn't been there for so long I'd forgotten about it. I'm perfectly happy to give to someone in need, and that's what I thought I was doing the first time, but then there's just taking the piss, and this was definitely that. Another time a similar thing happened, someone was hanging around outside a train station in a cast and told me his story and showed me his war wounds/some sort of wounds, and out of sympathy I gave to him, but no sooner did I do that and a bit further up the road I meet another person, on crutches, pulling exactly the same routine. That was the first time I'd ever seen that, since I don't use trains very often... just how cynical all this is, and how much it plays on people's sympathies; it's one thing to give because you want to give but it's another to be cynically pressured or manipulated into it. Then on top of that, someone was brazenly coughing their guts up in the middle of the bus station without a mask or a care in the world. So yeah, just a bit pissed off but glad to get that off my chest /rant

Waiting for my homemaker to come. I still have to do exercise today, but while he's here I'm going to focus on looking at recipes for side dishes that I might bring to Christmas dinner.
