David Z. Albert says the unidirectionality of time is attributed to a Past Hypothesis and that's that.  

Tim Maudlin says time is just unidirectional and that's that.  

Tomayto tomahto.

I hold to a growing block model of time.

Essentially, the past and present exist while the future does not.

This includes an objective-collapse model of quantum mechanics with a "flash" ontology. Flashes in the past where the wavefunction became localized are real but inactive.
