So Eurovision 24 does have some redeeming qualities

Although now I am seeing news of his subpar performance.

The EBU have fucked up pretty badly, first for not banning Israel for committing war crimes as bad (if not worse than, as they're currently committing genocide) those that saw Russia band and then by banning the Dutch entry for an "incident" involving an unknown member of the Dutch delegation, but in reality for pointing out the hypocrisy of allowing Israel. Now the shit is really hitting the fan with multiple withdrawals (at least one signer and many national announcers and presenters) and complaints flying in against the Israelis for politicising the whole competition.
There was no way to keep the Eurovision "apolitical" and the only moral decision would have been to ban the genocidal fuckfaces early and permanently.
