You know it’s terrifying when “anyone can potentially read your otherwise unexpressed thoughts” is one of the milder problems.

I'm surprised the fundamentalists in America aren't screaming bloody murder about it being the Mark of the Beast, seriously.

After Donald Trump became the Republican front runner, it’s become blindingly obvious that, as long as the person in question says all the right (or wrong) things in their culture war bullshit, anything else they do, they don’t care about it.

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Saw my first origami truck in town yesterday. It's enormous. It's ugly. It was driven by an Elmo fanboi in white framed sunglasses. Odds are that the collar on his golf shirt was up. Central casting.

Tesla charging chief Rebecca Tinucci met with Elon Musk, after she cut between 15% and 20% staffers two weeks earlier.

Musk wanted more layoffs.

She balked, said deeper cuts would undermine charging-business fundamentals.

He fired her and the entire 500-member team.

Super genius business strategising there. And yet people (not on this site) complain about me continuing to call him Galaxy Brain.

Split the spoiled baby. He is that, but he's also trying to get rid of his solar and car business. He's a space man now.
