That's sad.  He was head of research at AT&T Bell Labs in NJ while I was there for my Post-Doc.  He was well liked and a brilliant man.

Robert Wilson interviewed me for a job while I was there.  I didn't get it.

While it's not happy news that Melanie died, I have that damn screeching earworm stuck now and have for days.
