Dead people take up too much room in the ground that could be used for building, say, homeless shelters - stuff to help people who are actually still alive! I got that from George Carlin lol.
Seriously though.... what do you mean first and foremost? Well you can say they're still people, sure. But they're not living, they're dead and they feel no pain and they experience nothing - living people are what ethically matter IMO.
People can do whatever the fuck they like with me after I'm dead. Maybe my epitaph should be "Do what you want with me - I'm fucking dead." or perhaps "almost certainly gone forever" or just "Dead".
