Fuck him, his religion, his fast day, and any/everything else he considers important. He chose to fast, it's his fucking problem if he can't handle it.

I used to work with a Muslim man who I liked very much. He and I shared a love of all things candy. We would bring different goodies into work and swap them and enjoy our daily sweets. During his fast days, if he looked at me and I was eating some candy he would fake cry. He was quite aware that his beliefs weren't shared by everyone and he made light of it.

He was the sort of religious person who is the best of them. Following his faith but never thinking that it must be shared by everyone.
