Hmm, if there is a war there, the situation could be taken advantage of by Russia.
Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?

Not to mention the US,which would immediately seize the non existent moral high ground.

China will probably use a simple approach: Flatten entire regions.Pretty sure most of the approx 11 million Uyghurs know exactly what to expect from the Chinese government.

Quote:Seriously!? There's enough war as is...Why can't we just live in peace. Get rid of religion and we'd be much closer

Oh please. Humans as a species ar greedy, stupid, and aggressive. We love war, or it would be rare.. If we got rid of religion you wouldn't notice the difference in real politik. Countries never wage war over religion or moral principle. Some of the dumber, more gullible individuals might, but not as many as you might think.

Well, the US would probably enter on the chineese side, because they need eachother, but I think Russia would open a northern front, either as a 3rd faction or in alliance with the Uyghurs. In the aftermath, the US and Chinas rivalry would escolate from unlikely trade partners in economic competition to mutually distrustful associates, and trade would slow between them dramatically.

Ya thinks china would invade places like Pakistan, Afghanistan, Durkadurkastan, Iraq and other fanatic muslim strongholds if al Qaeda groups carried out attacks on their citizentry?

China invades the homelands of those whom are doing them harm. CRUSH THOSE HATEMONGERS CHINA! TEACH THEM THE HARDWAY!

I wasn't aware that Iraq was an Al Qaeda stronghold in 2001. I also wasn't aware that the US had invaded Pakistan and the fictional (and culturally insensitive) Durkadurkastan.

Iraq and Afghanistan were considered terrorist sympathizers that offered safe-houses, training facilities and weapons to al Queda and other organizations. Pakistan I threw in there as that is where a large number of al Queda is still holed-up and operating out of. So if they messed with China then China may as well invade that country.

And you are correct. Durkadurkastan was culturally insensitive. My bad. Funny, but my bad.

That "World Police" movie was horribly insensitive. Funny as all get-out, but insensitive.

I found that movie funny irrespective of any insensitivity.

I agree with you saerules. I would doubt the US is going to pull out the middle east or even China at this point in time. This war needs to end all ready. And the US troups should come home.

@Dotard that was one funny movie I liked it all the way through!! Thanks for posting it.

40-120 million USD?

Imagine what else one could do with that kind of money Smile A shame indeed that it is wasted on the likes of mass-produced war machines.

Besides... I disagree with the mass-production design philosophy. Instead, I say spend 500 million on making sure the tank can withstand a several hundred megaton blast (okay, maybe not that much...) Smile If you can't do it now... then start finding a way to do it. Spend that 500 million on researching how to make your tanks survive that much... and then think about possibly building tanks Smile Or rather: use said technology to build your defensive structures (or if cheap enough, all of your buildings). Smile

I personally prefer a defensive technological approach to a wasteful offensive campaign. Now you all know what to expect when you walk into my base (StarCraft and whatnot) Joke

Sae,

So you would go with a tech race instead of building appropriate defenses as you tech up? My Zerglings, Zealots, or Space Marines would be raping your base in no time!

Ok, so I prefer the long game too but while building up to the inevitable Guardian group with a couple groups of Mutalisk air defense I always scout the map with my Overlords so I know what is being done in the other camp and if I saw that you were teching up I would certainly pwn you with a Zerg rush even though I prefer to tech up myself.

I also like a good Protoss Zealot rush, but prefer to build up to Carriers with defending Scouts and a few Corsairs to tie up ground to air defenses.

When playing a Terran player and my army is the Zerg it is really fun to toss a couple groups of Zerglings at the Terrans to get the player to believe I am going to rush. They usually respond by mass producing Siege Tanks. There is nothing more fun than flying a full group of Guardians OVER their Tanks to decimate their base!

Now to apply Starcraft theory to the real world. Nations all over the planet are trying to tech up but realize the inherent weakness in not covering defenses with a mobile ground force so they feel the need to build up whatever tech they have now while researching higher levels of technology.

I can't friggin' wait for Starcraft II. It looks like it will be an awesome game with many layers of tactics.

Ich Lieber Blizzard!
