But I wonder: do you really think you can justify your opposition to gay marriage from your religion? The same books in the bible which decry homosexuality make a whole host of commandments which are absolutely absurd from a modern perspective, and are therefore ignored by you. If you think homosexuality is a no no, and are against gay marriage, it's just because of your prejudice, a just so decision to deny these people certain rights. You don't have a justification from your religion which you can bring forth in good faith.
