I don't mind looking expressionless, though. And I think it looks worse when I try to pull a fake smile and I'm not good at that for some reason, so I just relax my facial muscles. This may cause me to look as if I'm depressed or something, but I'm not.
Some people's outward expressions are more visible and identifiable while other peoples' are more subtle. But, again, I don't think it has anything to do with their culture nor their religion. This should be looked at from a psychological stance.
