After three seasons of putting it off I finally decided that it was time to break down and buy myself a riding mower. This is a Husqvarna YTA Twin 22HP Briggs and Stratton with a 46 inch cutting deck. I can tell you that this is much easier on my back than pushing around my 16 year old Toro 20 inch mower. I have a pretty good sized corner lot and over the last few seasons it's become harder and harder on me to push a mower, (a recurring issue with a herniated L5 disc). I tried a few other riding mowers, John Deere, Cub Cadet, Troy Bilt, but this Huqvarna was much more comfortable and seemed better built. It leaves a nice smooth cut, too. Anyway, I got a heck of a deal on this one....and of course, one of my hats to top it off.
The front of my house and part of my front yard. My Japanese Maple is leafed out, Crab Apple tree in bloom, and my Hostas and Lillies of the Valley are popping up. I can't trim the shrubs just yet, Cardinals have a nest there....
Here's Rueben giving a review of his Husqvarna riding mower...
Your new toy is cool..... you can take me for a ride ...but wait you almost smile there
